Joe Walsh apparently is involved in a very interesting project that's coming together at Los Angeles' famous Capitol Records Studios.  The Eagles guitarist posted a photo on Twitter over the weekend featuring himself, Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr, producer Don Was, Jeff Beck bassist Tal Wilkenfeld, journeyman session drummer Jim Keltner and bluesman Keb' Mo', accompanied by a message that reads, "Cooking up something here at Capitol Records!  I think you'll like it."

Also taking part in the sessions are veteran singer/songwriters Bill Withers and Dr. John, as well as slide-guitar whiz Robert Randolph, among others.  More information about the recording project was revealed by Wilkenfeld in a series of tweets.  In one of the posts, she writes, "Thursdays in the office are usually pretty mellow. Like today...when I wrote a song with Bill Withers, Mick Jagger, Keb Mo & Joe Walsh."  In other tweets, she comments about working with Dr. John, Randolph, Keltner, Keb' Mo' and Was.

A bit more information about the project was revealed by Randolph, who also posted photos from and messages about the sessions on his own Twitter feed.  Stay tuned for more details about this fascinating star-studded venture.
